A video of Ginger cat enjoying a romantic dinner date with her owner went viral on social media, melting hearts all over the world.
The orange cat is seen lounging on a pillow in front of a miniature table decorated with red roses, tiny candles, and Champagne in the video, which was posted on TikTok on Monday by the cat’s owner Kim Ngan Le, under the username Heyitsgingerandpepper. The floor is covered in stray rose petals.
The title of the amusing video reads, “POV: your date is waiting for you.” “Patiently waiting for you.” comes next.
Kim claimed to Newsweek that her kitties decided to arrange their own date night after observing the “hoomans” enjoying one. Later on, they just relax and cuddle.”
Do cats love their owners too? A lot of cat owners cherish their pets more than other things in life. Or do they merely take advantage of our emotions by feeding and housing us?

Cats do, according to research, genuinely adore their owners. According to a 2019 Oregon State University study, cats are just as attached to their owners as newborns are to their parents.
The cats in the study enjoyed to be seen by their owners and were happy to see them. In addition, the study’s felines displayed signs of distress upon the departure of their carers and felt content and safe upon their return. A year later, they were still acting in this manner, and their reactions resembled what kids do when they saw their parents.
Animal lovers took to the TikTok video immediately, and it has had over 1.4 million views and 203,800 likes so far.
Jen Katigbak, one of the users, said: “The eye contact is true love.” In response, Ms. Cook exclaimed, “OMG his little paws, the way he’s sitting.” “Best date ever,” wrote Abby.
Desiree stated: “That would literally be the best date I’ve been on in yearsssss.” Cloudiya Garcia continued, saying, “To be honest, this is my dream date.” “100/10 date, would ask out again,” MZ90 wrote.
Mads, a different user, said: “He’s gunna propose for sure.” “How on Earth did you get him to stay sat there like that?” exclaimed Monty and Milo. “I’d much rather be on this date than the ones I get off Hinge,” Aprilldb remarked, making reference to the dating app.
Jen penned: “Oh no. She appears eager to see you as well! utterly priceless.” “Oh my goodness, I’d show up two hours early just to have extra time with him,” exclaimed cherry7847.
Newsweek contacted Heyitsgingerandpepper for comment after being unable to confirm the post’s details.
