In addition to Leigh Whannell’s next Universal Monsters film Wolf Man, Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel) has joined the cast of Weapons, according to THR.
Weapons is the upcoming horror film from upcoming Line Cinema and director Zach Cregger (Barbarian), starring Julia Garner alongside the previously announced Josh Brolin (Dune 2).

The upcoming Weapons is written and directed by Zach Cregger, who will also produce alongside his Barbarian producing team, which includes Roy Lee of Vertigo and J.D. Lifshitz & Raphael Margules, Boulder Light Films. Miri Yoon from Vertigo is also an editor.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Plot information for Weapons are being kept holstered though it has been described as a multi and inter-related story terror epic that tonally is in tIn the tradition of Magnolia, the 1999 actor-packed showcase from director Paul Thomas Anderson.
Cregger was a founder member and writer for the New York comedy company “The Whitest Kids U’Know,” which he formed while attending The School of Visual Arts.
The award-winning group’s self-titled sketch comedy show aired for five seasons on IFC-TV and Fuse. He was also a series regular on Jimmy Fallon’s NBC show “Guys with Kids,” the TBS popular show “Wrecked,” and had a recurring part on NBC’s “About a Boy.” Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute Weapons internationally.
