M. Night Shyamalan returns with his latest thriller Trap, just a few weeks after his young daughter Ishana Night Shyamalan made her debut in cinema with The Watchers, a film about horror.
M. Night Shyamalan’s next thriller for Warner Bros., the sixteenth movie of his Oscar-nominated career, will be released nationwide on the 9th of August 2024.

In the soon-to-be-released thriller starring Josh Hartnett, “A dad and teenage daughter attend a pop concert, when they realize they’re at the center of a mysterious and sinister event.”
The official teaser for Trap explains that the pop event is in fact an elaborate trap set to catch The Butcher, a nasty serial killer who has been dodging authorities.
Hartnett recently referred to the secret film as “very bizarre” and “very dark.”
According to IMDb, Trap’s cast comprises Hayley Mills, Marnie McPhail, Vanessa Smythe, Saleka Shyamalan, Scott Ian MacDougall, Kristi Woods, and Cali Lorella.
Trap is Shyamalan’s debut feature under his new arrangement with Warner Bros., that has been billed as a “multi-year first-look directing and producing agreement.”
The movie was directed by Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock, & M. Night Shyamalan. The chief producer is Steven Schneider.
